I wanted to have a circle be the unifying element across each spread in my composition. The poem I chose and it's subject matter felt very quiet to me, so I wanted to keep my composition simplistic.
typeface and color
I wanted my typeface and color scheme to match the calmness of the poem, so I chose to maintain a black and white scheme with a single pop of color. My typeface was chosen for a similar purpose.
